DEPARTURE FROM NEATH

LOUGHOR, Sun., March 5.

Mr. Evan Roberts left Neath for his parents’ home at Loughor yesterday afternoon, where he will stay a few days. He took his departure in a hansom cab, and travelled alone. He appeared to be in excellent spirits. The only message, he said to our reporter, that he had convey was - “Tell the people my faith in God is stronger than ever.”

Today Mr. Roberts spent a quiet day. A press representative who called at the house in the afternoon found that he was away visiting friends. His mother, however, stated that her son was much better in health. Asked as to whether Mr. Roberts intended visiting the Holy Land, Mrs. Roberts said she had not heard anything about it, nor did she know anything of her son’s plans for the future. In the evening a large number of visitors attended at Moriah Chapel in the expectation that Mr. Roberts would be present, but the revivalist did not put in an appearance.
