A Chapter from ‘Between College Terms’By Constance L. Maynard
![]() |
About this chapterThe book from which this chapter is taken, Between College Terms by Constance Louisa Maynard, (1849-1935) records various vacations of a Principal of Westfield College, University of London. Her desires were to ‘go where one will, and have adventures and see the beauty of things.’ She wrote a variety of books during her lifetime, many of them having clearly religious themes, revealing her deep Christian commitment. This chapter finds her reminiscing on the time she spent near Swansea in January 6, 7 and 8, 1905, at the heart of the Welsh revival. She had travelled there to get a first-hand glimpse of the Revival. |
